Food Allergy

The main cause of allergy is due to the break down in our immune system. Allergy and its problems may occur due to numerous reasons. Some people are allergic to foodstuff like milk, nuts, chocolates, shellfish etc. this is what is known as food allergy. Sometimes it is just the mental condition of the individual that produces food allergy on consumption of certain kind of food. But in lot of cases it has been scientifically been proven that food allergy is not a disorder of a phobic mind but due to certainchemicals with reaction to human body creates food allergy.

You might be allergic to a particular food items, or certain preservatives. When it comes to food allergies, protein rich food substances like peanuts, fish, egg, soy, wheat and pulses usually cause them. Although an allergy may build up at any age, there is no precise cure till now, which can be prescribed. With this little study in allergies doctors recommend anti-histamine drugs and in some sever cases can even inject steroids, but these are only to subdue the effects after an allergy has occurred. There is no lasting cure to chuck out of any kind of allergy and the only way out is to take preventive measures by restraining to intake of food that causes the allergy.
